The Tors of Dartmoor are a distinguishing feature of its landscape and help create a sense of place, combining natural and ancient history. Dartmoor thus encompasses archaeology from the bronze age, more recent remains of mining and farming communities, in addition to its extraordinary geology, which I hope to do justice to, by illustrating with black and white images.
